PILOT UNITS
Croll Reynolds Air Pollution Control Systems has 10,000 cfm and 2,500 cfm wet scrubber/wet ESP
pilots available for pilot testing. The scrubbers are multi-rod type used for gas cooling, course
particulate removal, acid gas removal and air distribution. They are followed by an upflow, tubular,
condensing wet ESP. The wet ESP removes acid mists, sub-micron particulate and liquid droplets.
Metals, dioxins/furans and mercury can also be captured.
The pilot units include:
- a preconditioning quenching section to cool the flue gas
- a conditioning scrubber section to scrub acid gases and saturate the gas
- a wet ESP collector section which collects sub-micron particulate and mist
- an outlet section with insulator purge system and bus bar.
Most importantly, this technology is non-clogging, with self-cleaning features that require minimum
maintenance and has low pressure drop to reduce energy consumption. The units are transportable and
come in three sections to be erected in the field. Interconnecting ductwork, fan and pump skids
are supplied. A plant has only to supply electrical and water utilities.
Before committing to an air pollution control technology for a facility, why not pilot
test our
technology and demonstrate performance. The units are available on a first come, first serve basis
with weekly rental rates.
